\nrev\u2022er\u2022ie: a state of being pleasantly lost in one’s thoughts; a daydream<\/p>\n

The subway is this strange place where one is at pause and in motion at once. Surrounded by a cacophony of sounds – conversations, screeching wheels, mta’s inaudible announcements, doors’ opening\/closing chimes, etc and the incredible fusion of people. We’re all on our way somewhere. We’ve got to get there soon. In the meantime we daydream, and reflect, and negotiate internally.
\nI took these photos earlier in the summer on a spur of the moment. Always wanted to do a story about the subway. Maybe this is a beginning.<\/p>\n
